The board of directors is responsible for the internal administration of the association. It makes all decisions together in order to achieve its statutory aims.
Its tasks include, among others, hedgehog consulting, press and media relations, planning and implementing campaigns and events, initiating and promoting scientific studies, setting up and coordinating networks and/or information centers, publishing specialist publications in its own publishing house, commissioning external service providers, especially for distribution, and acquiring donations and grants.
The members of the Executive Board decide jointly on the internal division of work within the Executive Board.
